Quantity

A fine expression of an outstanding Graves terroir, Chateau Ferrande’s red blend leans heavily on the appellation’s two key grape varieties. A 50/50 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine’s fresh fruit aromas are beautifully underpinned by an elegant tannic structure. Vintage after vintage, the winemaking team remains faithful to what has become a winning formula, aiming to maintain the supple, sensual classicism associated with Bordeaux’s finest wines.

Nose : On the nose, intense ripe fruit aromas (especially cherry) are joined by nutty notes and hints of cocoa and liquorice. The boldness of the nose is confirmed in the mouth, with a supple attack giving way to an uninhibitedly fruit-forward, full bodied mid-palate. Minty notes on the finish reveal all the elegance of a distinguished Bordeaux red.

Food Pairing : Chateau Ferrande red pairs equally subtly with rustic, hearty cuisine and more complex dishes, revealing its depth. Its aromatic boldness and solid tannic structure enable it to stand up to homemade terrines, pork belly and flame grilled beef. Its surprising freshness and versatility bring out the more subtle flavours of dishes such as veal carpaccio or wild mushroom risotto.

Returns & Replacements

In the event that an item within the hamper may be sold out, the Company retains the right to replace it with an item of equal or greater value.

The Company cannot accept returns or exchanges for consumable items, including but not limited to hampers, fine foods, confectionery and wines.

Delivery Costs & Times

Christmas Delivery:

Please note we do not allow dated delivery requests in December due to the large volume of orders we process and deliver over this period. All gifts are processed in the order they are received, and delivery is effected as efficiently as possible by our team.

We do our very best to ensure all gifts are delivered safely and in a timely manner. We encourage our customers to place their order at their earliest convenience to ensure we can deliver effectively.

Standard Delivery:

To Malta:
Free Standard Delivery applies to all our Hampers. For all other products, Free Standard Delivery applies to orders over €35.00 - If your order is below €35.00 a flat delivery fee of €5.00 will be applied to your shopping cart during checkout. Deliveries to Malta are processed and delivered at our next availability, which is usually within 1-3 working days, excluding public holidays. In December this would be 1-5 working days.

To Gozo:
For orders over €35.00 a flat delivery charge of €5 applies - If your order is below €35.00 the delivery charge is €9.00. Gozo Deliveries are processed and delivered at our next availability, which is usually within 2-5 working days, excluding public holidays. In December this would be 3-7 working days.

Deliver on Specified Date (Only available January to November):

If you require delivery on an exact date, this option is available at checkout, at an additional cost of €5.00

Deliver on Specified Date only allows selection between January and November, for orders delivered on mainland Malta. It does not apply to Christmas orders, orders to Gozo or international orders.

Collection:

During checkout you also have the option to collect your purchase. The collection point will be listed at checkout depending which location your order will be processed from.

Collection is free and the processing time for your order being ready for pickup is usually after 1 full working day from when you placed the order (excluding Sundays and public holidays). We recommend calling us before you come to collect to ensure your order is ready and waiting for you.
